MOBILE, Ala. – Continuing their fall season, the University of South Alabama women's golf team will open play in the Xavier Invitational on Friday in Daytona Beach, Fla., at the LPGA International Hills Course.

The Jaguars are coming off of a fourth-place finish at the Pirate Collegiate Classic on Sept. 25-26, after posting a score of 890 with three Jags finishing in the top 20.

For the first time since 2015, the Jaguars have recorded back-to-back top-five finishes, including a third-place result at the USA Intercollegiate.

TEE SHOTS
-Junior Lexi Worrell and freshmen Siti Shaari and Caroline Berge look to build off their top-20 finishes at the Pirate Collegiate Classic. Berg and Shaari have each finished in the top-20 in both fall tournaments for the Jags. 
-Siti Shaari parred 36 of the 54 holes to lead the Jaguars at the Pirate Collegiate Classic. The 36 pars were good for a tie for second for the tournament.
-Shaari bogied just one hole during the final round to go with three birdies last week.
-MacKenzie Peyton tallied a team-leading 11 birdies during the tournament.
